Hearts' day
Early on today, I received a text message from Dale, greeting me a Happy Valentine's Day from L.A. Sweet! I still don't know what's going on. As for the date, Dale's fingers are still magic. I detected, however, some confusion on my part. Although the sheets were just as wet as ever, I couldn't seem to achieve the high that I used to feel with Dale. New year blues
It's the new year. A lot of things have happened. I've been overwhelmed with many, many emotions that I've shut down. I am, however, determined to start the new year right and that's to write. Three months ago, my mom was diagnosed with congestive heart failure. It was easy to understand the physiology of it; it was more difficult to see the implications to my daily life. An episode slammed my face into the inevitable loss of loved ones: a minor heart attack.
