Elizabeth Berg
So read "The Little Things" last night and boy oh boy did it change my life. I must say as an author, Ms. Berg certainly has a way of saying exactly the right thing. She writes beautifully. Moving. So long story short, I let it all go. Elizabeth is right, we don't grow up until we let it all go. Jeanne, after all this time, I let you go. I came to the conclusion, like a slap in the face, you were just really really bad at it. Being a Mom that is. Poor thing. But you know what? I thank you for sucking horribly at mothinering 'cause it made me much better as a mother. How you never...

ACCOUNTABILITY
Oh it was doomed to happen, the day I felt the need to hold myself accountable for all my insane actions. Yes, I've let myself slide, stopped with the regular maintenance, stopped loving.... Wait, news flash, perhaps, *gasp* I never truly loved myself? Was a version of my abuser? Telling myself how I will never amount to anything, how I am fat, how I am useless. All the lines that made me cry and now I feed then to myself as a side dish to the ice creams and chips and junk of all sorts. Shame on me. New hobby time me thinks.

Funny how one person can put words together and it's like magic, transporting the reader to another place and time. However when others of little talent string the same words from the same source (ie: english) together, it hurts the eyes, offends the imagination bores the soul, and sickens the stomach. Moving on, cause I've depressed myself with the knowledge I simply don't have the gene required to write effectivly and with sincerity, clarity, honesty and...

Bye Bye Birdie
I came home to a beauty named Hannah. Even though after a time gaining trust, we bonded, she is now off to her true home south of here. I shall remember fondly the sound of her attempting to remove the jet from the crystal that hangs around my neck. The light feel of her body perched on me, her soft beak, softer feathers, and intelligent eyes. You impacted my life with your too short visit. Your memory is on my being, in my heart, and forever imprinted on my soul. I shall not forget you. Thank you -
