My fabulous husband, after much affectionate nagging from me, has finally given up cigarettes. I am so proud of him I could just burst! Now it wasn't done cold turkey but with an electronic cigarette. After 35 years of smoking and admittedly not wanting to quit, he DID it! Raffle Pattern Question

I have two granddaughters, ages 7 and 12 who partcipate in cometitive cheerleading. It amazes me how this has really become quite the sport. These girls work so hard and are so talented. A year ago the 7 year old couldn't bend backwards because her back was like a straight board. I'm so impressed now when she does several backsprings in a row. She is on the small side, so she gets to be the one getting thrown sky high during their stunts. I gasp every time! The 12 year old has also made tons of progress and loves to perform...
Long time no blog
Is it really October already? I'm such a bad blogger. I think of things to blog about all the time, I just never get a round tuit. Remember those?
I've more or less put the knitting aside for the time being. I have enough frustration in my life without going out and creating more. I have two crochet projects going at the same time which is pretty amazing considering I don't multitask very well. I started Nancy's Wave Scarf in a yellow and white sport yarn and yet another baby blanket for a friend. I can't locate the pattern for the scarf, but did find the link to the stitch it's based...
